JANUARY REFLECTIONS

This time of year often feels like a magical mixture of optimism, realizations, and rebirth. We say farewell to the heartaches and trials and make space to honor the resilience that pulled us through as we welcome a new beginning. As we reflect, pause, and begin to revitalize our vision for Fable, our hearts are calling us to share our deepest gratitude. In this industry, brands are fleeting, but you and your support have sustained us in more ways than we can write. Our brand has undergone so many changes and we look forward to a new season of transformation with you as our guiding light.

In 2024 we are asking how we can continue to expand consciously and build a community steeped in the wildness of life. Our eyes are on the horizon and we look forward to bringing you the cleanest ingredients and highest quality product. It’s been an honor to serve as a resource, a guide, and a source of open honest answers for our customers.

Cheers to another year of celebrating each other, evolving, changing, and become the most authentic, wild versions of ourselves. We adore you all, and we love that you have given us a place in your world. It is truly humbling to see this community that has formed, and resides within our brand.

Happy New Year Fable babes!

Ancient Rituals At Home

DRY BRUSHING

The roots of dry brushing can be traced back to ancient civilizations in Egypt, where it was an integral part of self-care routines.

It's said Cleopatra would start her spa ritual with dry brushing, followed by a milk and honey bath. In Ayurvedic medicine, this practice goes by the name Garshana.

Dry Brushing is believed to lightly exfoliate and sweep away dead skin to reveal glowing and smooth skin. The thought is that the coarse bristles will help to remove dead skin and improve the skin's ability to rid the body of toxins through the pores.

DRY BRUSHING

STEP BY STEP

01 PREP YOUR BRUSH

Dry Brush before showering so you can wash away all the toxins and dead skin cells you release. Add a few drops of essential oil to your dry brush to support detoxification, increase circulation, and support skin health

02 BRUSH TOWARDS THE HEART

Start at your feet and work your way up towards your heart. Using small firm strokes or circular motions with your brush. Use light pressure on areas with thin skin. Always brush in a direction going towards your heart.

03 SHOWER AND MOISTURIZE

After dry brushing, your pores are primed and ready to absorb your favorite nutrient-dense lotion or body oil. Apply after showering off all the toxins and dead skin.
