November REFLECTIONS
November in my heart has always been a month dedicated to service, sharing warmth, love and holding space for those low moments we all run into as the seasons change. In Chinese medicine, fall is associated with the lungs, symbolizing a letting go. It is a season to look at your inner landscape and ensure you are nourishing all aspects of yourself. Let this be a time of releasing and creating habits and intentions that support renewal and healing. Also, this is a month to honor your bodies energy. You do not have to attend every party, event, etc... at the cost of you mental and physical health.

Ancient Remedies
As a brand, our philosophy has always taken a holistic approach to skin health. We have woven ancient remedies into our modern lifestyle and with the Autumn season at our door step we wanted to share our favorite ingredient to support this change, not only for your skin but for your body as a whole system.
Rosehip Oil
As we shift from the vibrant, active days of summer into cooler and more elemental days, our body is calling us to adapt. November is the season to embrace the ancient and healing powers of rosehip oil. Our skin is desperate for hydration in any seasonal change but the transition from summer to fall calls for a plant harvested in late fall, shortly after the first frost.
Rosehip oil absorbs easily into skin to rejuvenate and enhance your complexion. As the weather is often uncertain its important to have a dynamic oil that can support you acid mantle (the natural oil barrier on your skin).Ancient Chinese doctors and early Native Americans used rosehip preparations to treat everything from stomach weakness to muscle cramps. Rosehip oil has also been praised for its high antioxidant content which helps balance our pH and keep our skin in happy homeostasis.
