HERBARIUM SOY CANDLE
Made on the Central Coast of California, with soy wax blends and a mix of fine fragrance and essential oils. Our candles burn clean, are vegan, cruelty-free, and phthalate-free.
To grow a garden is similar to building a fragrance; both are an exercise rooted in traditions. While honoring the ancestral knowledge, you must understand the craft to create something that will flourish. But within that realm of artistry there is always space for rebellion. Allowing the plants to show you their spirit and how they want to be revealed, where they want to be planted, who they want to dance with, and relishing in the honor of being picked and preserved. While building this fragrance, we were guided by the plants - drawing on the ancestral invitation to be allies with nature, to hear them speak, and creating our own Herbarium.
Herbarium is a scent that expresses the full complexity of a garden in late bloom, still effervescent and wild, but calling to be harvested, plucked, and preserved. The scent carries a bright stream of sunshine dancing with vibrant Fennel. Damp Earth slowly starts to warm, as you harvest a handful of lush Basil. Rockrose brings a maternal softness while Carrot Root and pale yellow Hayfields create an astral connection to the unpredictability of wild plants. Each opening up to a new day, shifting towards the sun, sharing a different spirit then they had before. Vetiver refines and intertwines the fragrance, bringing the ground and the sky together. Tilled Earth and the Cedar reminds us of the ancestry and abundance found in our planet’s soil and the origins of these sacred plants.

Our clean scents are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance. The ingredients we use are paraben-free, phthalate-free, and are never tested on animals. Our candles were designed to enhance a space rather than overpower it, and are especially ideal for those with scent sensitivities.
Vegetable Wax Blend, Proprietary Blend of Essential Oils and Fine Fragrances, American grown cotton wick.
Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar on every burn to prevent tunneling. Never burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Trim your wick to 1/4“ after each burn. Dispose of the candle when 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom, this will ensure the safety of the product and your home. Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of drafts, pets, or small children. Candle jars are hot after burning, so allow wax to cool completely before handling. Neither seller nor manufacturer is responsible for misuse. Our candles provide a clean burn for 40+ hours.
Glass Jar + Metal Lid - When your candle reaches the end of it's life cycle, simple pour boiling hot water into the jar to release the last bit of solid wax, using a butter knife to lift it out of the jar. Wipe the jar clean, and recycle via curbside bins.
Upcycle - Turn your cleaned jar into a plant pot, pen cup, drinking glass, toiletries holder, makeup brush jar, spice container, etc.
