October REFLECTIONS
This is a time where i really focus on turning my lens inward. The outside world gets extremely loud and overstimulating, and I find as an introvert i have to make space to pull all of my pieces back together in quiet moments. Journaling and yoga become obligatory rather than optional. As we begin to gear up socially, remember to also go inward, make space, and be comfortable saying no to things that do not serve you well.
Ancient Rituals At Home
Marma Points
According to Ayurvedic medicine, marma points are specific areas on the body that can activate healing when pressed. These anatomical locations on your body hold a concentration of life energy. These points are found at the intersections of muscles, veins, ligaments, bones, and joints. These areas – while part of the physical body – are infused with vital energy (prana) and they serve as a bridge to link the mind, body, and soul. Our Body accumulates energy at certain points, using acupressure we release the build up and create a flow within the body.
Marma Points
In Our RItuals
Breathe slowly and deeply for a few counts, then begin to press gently but firmly on the point of your choice, using the tips of your fingers. Hold the point for a few breathes, then release - repeat up to 5 minutes.
Sole of the Foot
To access this point, sit in a chair and cross your leg so that the pinky toe side of your foot is resting on the top of your thigh. The spot to look for is just behind the ball of the foot, on the line between the second and third toes and the center of the heel. Press down with your thumbs to activate the most grounding point on the body.
The Inner Wrist
Place your palm face up, and measure two-thumbs-width distance from the midpoint of your rist towards your elbow. Gently press for three breathes and repeat on the other side. This calms your nervous system and can help you sleep, releasing body stiffness.
The Center Forehead
Using your middle finger, with light to moderate pressure, gently press and pulse several times at the point in the middle of the forehead between the eyebrows. Then, with the same finger, slowly and gently massage the point using circular motions three times in each direction.

Buy.Give.Share. Program brings Selfcare to Lipstick Angels & Tower Cancer Research center
"When we started our give back program ten years ago we never imagined the lengths it would take us to. Since Fable started, we have been blessed with so many transformative experiences over the years - but last week we had the opportunity to partner with the Lipstick Angels and Tower Cancer Research to teach a wellness workshop, and honestly it's hard not to get emotional looking back on it.”
